THE SNOW ANGEL Place coarse
red and/or white decorating sugar
in shallow dish. Wet rims of two
martini glasses with damp paper
towel. Dip in sugar to coat rims;
set aside. Fill shaker halfway
with ice cubes. Add 2 ounces
chocolate vodka, 2 ounces white 3
crème de cacao, 2 ounces Coole
Swan Irish liqueur, and 1 ounce
orange liqueur. Cover; shake well.
Strain mixture into prepared
glasses. Top with chocolate curls.
Makes 2 cocktails. Pair with

BUBBLY POINSETTIA
In pitcher stir together
21⁄ 4 cups gin, 1 cup
grenadine, 3⁄ 4 cup
maraschino liqueur, and
1⁄ 3 cup lemon juice. For each
cocktail, fill shaker halfway
with ice cubes. Add
1⁄ 3 cup gin mixture. Shake
well. Strain mixture into
champagne flute and top
with chilled Champagne.
Garnish with lemon slice or
wedge. Makes 12 cocktails.

Blackberry Liqueur

2 ounces vodka, and
1 ounce Chambord.

TROPICAL GETAWAY
Fill tall cocktail glass
halfway with ice cubes.
Add 1⁄ 2 ounce grenadine to
glass. Combine 2 ounces
pineapple juice, 1 ounce
orange juice, and 1⁄ 2 ounce
freshly squeezed lime juice;
slowly add to glass. Fill
glass almost to top with
ginger ale. Garnish with
pineapple wedge. Makes 1
cocktail. Pair with Caribbean
Stuffed Mushrooms.

SAINT NICK’S ROSY CHEEKS In pitcher combine
1 (750-milliliter) bottle rosé wine, 21⁄ 4 cups citrus vodka,
1 cup Simple Syrup (see recipe, page 56), and 1 teaspoon
orange bitters. For each serving, fill cocktail shaker halfway
with ice cubes. Add 6 tablespoons ( 3 ounces) rosé mixture.
Cover and shake well. Add 1 or 2 cherries to cocktail or
cordial glass. Strain mixture over cherries. Makes 18
cocktails. Pair with Blue Cheese Cherry Crostini.
